Refund policy
The short version. Ask within 14 days of paying for Perfica Cloud, whether it was your first purchase or a yearly renewal, and you get all of that payment back. You do not have to give a reason.
1. What this covers
The desktop app is free. This policy covers Perfica Cloud, the optional plan that costs US$36 a year, billed yearly. Cloud is sold through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record: Paddle is the seller on your receipt, takes the payment and makes refunds. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
2. 14 days, no questions
If you ask within 14 days of a purchase or of a yearly renewal, you get a full refund of that payment. You do not need to tell us why.
3. How to ask
Either:
- email [email protected] from the address you bought with, including the order number from your receipt if you have it; or
- ask Paddle directly, through the link in your receipt email or at paddle.net.
4. What happens next
- Paddle returns the money to the payment method you used. How long it takes to show up depends on your bank or card issuer.
- The refund is made in the currency you paid in. Any difference caused by exchange rates or your bank’s fees is outside our control.
- Cloud ends for the refunded period. Nothing on your own computer is affected.
5. After 14 days
After 14 days, the current period is not refunded, except where the law requires it or where the terms of use say so (for example, if we discontinue Cloud). You can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal, and Cloud stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
We or Paddle may refuse a refund where there are signs of fraud or abuse, such as repeatedly buying and refunding.
6. Your rights as a consumer
This policy adds to your rights. It does not take away any right you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
7. Language
This policy is published in English and Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version controls.
